SMS / Text Messaging Terms

Weather Ops LLC sends text messages to WeatherOps platform users — staff, sales representatives, account administrators, and subcontractors who use the Platform to do their work — for purposes including:

• Job and lead assignments — notice that a job or lead has been assigned to you
• Document e-signature status — updates when a proposal or document on your job is signed
• Notes, comments, and mentions — alerts when activity is posted on a job you are on
• Task and follow-up reminders — reminders for tasks and follow-ups due on your work
• Calendar and appointment reminders — reminders for scheduled events on your calendar
• Measurement and order status — notice that a measurement or order you requested is ready
• Account and system notifications — administrator alerts for integration health, sync failures, outages, and trial or billing status

This program sends operational, transactional messages only. We do not send marketing messages through this program.

WeatherOps and WeatherHailOps may help users identify leads, properties, storm-affected areas, permit records, business records, property-owner records, or third-party contact data. That information is notconsent to send SMS messages.

Platform users must not use Weather Ops LLC messaging systems, Twilio numbers, smrtPhone numbers, integrations, automations, or exported Platform data to send cold, marketing, autodialed, or otherwise regulated SMS messages unless the recipient has given the legally required consent to the actual sender and the campaign is properly registered, approved, and operated. We may block messages, restrict features, suspend users, or terminate accounts for suspected non-consented outreach.

Messages will identify the sender as "WeatherOps" or a clearly attributable variation.

You will be asked to opt in to SMS messages at the point where we collect your mobile number. For platform users this happens when you:

• Create an account on the Platform and provide a mobile number
• Add or update a mobile number in your account profile
• Enable SMS notifications in your account settings

Consent disclosure language, with a link to these SMS Terms, is displayed at the point where your mobile number is collected — during account sign-up and in your profile settings. By providing your mobile number and creating your account, you consent to receive the transactional notifications described in Section 1. We record the date and time your consent was captured with your account. You can manage which notification types you receive by SMS in your account settings at any time.

Message frequency varies by your role and how active your work is — typically a few messages per week during active work, and fewer when you have no active jobs. Administrators may receive additional system and account alerts as events occur.

Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging and data charges from your wireless carrier apply to messages you send and receive. Weather Ops LLC does not charge for messages, but your carrier may. Check with your carrier if you have questions about your messaging plan.

To stop receiving SMS messages from Weather Ops LLC at any time, reply with any of the following keywords to any message:

STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT

After we receive your opt-out, we will send a one-time confirmation message acknowledging the opt-out. You will not receive further messages from this program unless you re-subscribe.

Replying STOP opts you out of all messages from this program. To opt back in, see Section 9.

To receive help, reply with any of the following keywords to any message:

HELP, INFO

We will respond with a brief message containing our brand name, a contact phone or email, and instructions for opting out.

To re-subscribe after you have opted out, reply:

START, UNSTOP, YES

We will send a confirmation that you have been re-subscribed. Re-subscription will reapply the consent you previously gave for that category of messages.

Your current SMS opt-out status is also visible in your account settings. For your protection, an opt-out recorded by text message can only be reversed from your own phone — replying START (or tapping the re-enable prompt in settings, which opens a pre-filled text on your device) — never by the Platform on your behalf.

Messages are supported on major U.S. wireless carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, US Cellular, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Information collected in connection with this SMS program is governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, share, or otherwise transfer phone numbers or SMS opt-in information to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. We may share phone numbers with subprocessors (such as Twilio) only as necessary to deliver the messages you have consented to receive.
